What is gua airport?

Gua Airport, also known as La Aurora International Airport, is the main international airport in Guatemala City, Guatemala. It is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) south of the city center and serves as a hub for both domestic and international flights.

The airport has a single terminal with two concourses and offers a range of amenities for travelers, including shops, restaurants, VIP lounges, and car rental services. It has a capacity to handle around 5 million passengers annually.

Gua Airport is served by several major airlines, including Avianca, Copa Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and American Airlines, offering flights to destinations throughout the Americas, as well as Europe and Asia.

The airport is named after the famous Guatemalan artist and muralist, Miguel Ángel Asturias, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1967. It is considered one of the busiest and most modern airports in Central America.
